Michael Woods

Mr. Woods is the principal of this law firm. Mr. Woods holds an Honours B.A. in Economics and graduated from the Joint L.L.B and M.B.A. program offered by Osgoode Hall and the Shulich School of Business at York University in 1986. Since completing this program in 1986, and being called to the Bar of Ontario in 1988, he has been a practicing lawyer focusing on real estate and mortgage law, business and securities law, and wills and estates.

Since 2004, Mr. Woods has also been the lead underwriter for the mortgage investment corporation we administer, and is the registered broker of record for our affiliated mortgage brokerage company, Mortgagetown Inc.

Ian Cunliffe

Mr. Cunliffe is the Mortgage Administrator at Woods Law Professional Corporation. Mr. Cunliffe holds an engineering degree from Queens University.

Since 2004 he has been our mortgage administrator dealing with all issues associated with accounting for funds under administration for our clients.

 Lynne Woods

Mrs. Woods is the Office Manager at our firm and is responsible for all matters associated with the business side of operating a law office.  In addition, she is a qualified and experienced law clerk and is responsible for standard residential closings. 

Our clients are always impressed with the conscientious and courteous manner in which she handles their affairs.  Lynne Woods is also a commissioner of oaths.

Nicole Geldart

Ms. Geldart is a graduate of the Humber Law Clerk Program.  She brings to our firm years of experience as a real estate and litigation law clerk.  Ms. Geldart is responsible for the carriage of all mortgage closings as well as litigation files.  She also assists with residential real estate closings. 

Her professionalism and organizational skills are a great asset to us.  Nicole Geldart is also a commissioner of oaths.
